Mystic Sister is a handcrafted herbal and honeybee apothecary grown on a biodynamic homestead in the Texas Hill Country — and the life's work of herbalist, beekeeper, anthropologist, and photojournalist Saidy Lauer Corneglio.
Saidy has been a community herbalist for over 13 years, trained under Rosemary Gladstar at the Sage Mountain Herbal Center — widely considered the grandmother of American folk herbalism — and is currently completing her Advanced Herbalism Certification at the Herbal Academy to begin clinical work. She is a Reiki Master, a certified biodynamic beekeeper, and a former documentary photographer whose years of fieldwork across Central America, Morocco, Southeast Asia, and Europe inform a uniquely cross-cultural approach to plant medicine.
Every product in the Mystic Sister line starts on the land. Our many organic gardens produce medicinal herbs, flowers, and botanicals that are harvested at peak potency and prepared in small seasonal batches — in rhythm with the growing season, the lunar calendar, and the wisdom of the plants themselves. Our biodynamic hives are tended without chemicals or intervention, producing the raw honey, beeswax, and propolis at the heart of our apothecary.
We are Earth stewards as much as we are makers. On our small acreage in the Texas Hill Country we restore and conserve wildlife habitat through native plant gardening, pollinator conservation, and permaculture methods. The land is not just where we work — it is who we are.

About Saidy
Saidy is a community herbalist, biodynamic beekeeper, Reiki Master, documentary photographer, and cultural anthropologist — and the founder of Mystic Sister Apothecary.
She discovered herbalism in her twenties while traveling through Central America, Morocco, Southeast Asia, and Europe doing fieldwork and photojournalism. That training in presence, in bearing witness, in showing up fully to what is actually happening — shaped the kind of herbalist she became. She completed Rosemary Gladstar’s acclaimed program at Sage Mountain Herbal Center, studied under Asia Suler, Yarrow Willard, and Sajah Popham, and is currently completing her Advanced Herbalism Certification at the Herbal Academy. She has been a working community herbalist for over 13 years and is a Reiki Master and Seichim (Sekhem) practitioner.
Mystic Sister was born in Toronto, where Saidy installed and managed biodynamic hives across the city — her work documented by Global News. A certified biodynamic beekeeper (Humber College), she has tended hives using Demeter-standard practices ever since.
Today, Saidy lives and works on a permaculture homestead in the Texas Hill Country where she tends medicinal herb gardens, biodynamic beehives, edible gardens, and a flock of ducks — alongside two mystic cats who consider themselves essential members of the apothecary.
Herbalism and energy healing are not a career for Saidy. They are how she understands the world.
